Meet The Artist

Kiesha and I at Dewey Beach 2010
My name is Karen Marion. I'm an artist in the process of redefining my life. I spent many years in the computer field, several years traveling fulltime in my RV, and most recently I spent the better part of a year fighting breast cancer. I've finally settled down in a new home and studio in Maryland, and am putting all my efforts into creating new artwork.

I share my home with my mom, my greyhound Kiesha, and five Italian greyhounds. My business is named in honor of my sweet greyhound Gryffin who lost his battle with osteosarcoma in April 2010.

I've always loved creating new things, and feel delighted and honored by the support that people have shown me as I fought cancer and tried out new art forms. For now, I'm intrigued by fiber arts, and my newest series consists of art quilts and other fiber items.
