I occasionally help transport greyhounds in a program informally called GUR (Greyhound Underground Railroad). The dogs I drive typically come off the Florida tracks and come up the coast to adoption groups in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I drive the mid-Virginia to mid-Maryland leg and always enjoy meeting these beautiful, sweet creatures.
